William E. "Bill" Forbess, 70, of Little Rock, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 23, 2008. He was born January 27, 1938 in Marianna, Arkansas, the son of Archie and Laura Jean Christenson Forbess, who preceded him in death, along with his brothers, Loarn and Bob Forbess. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Hardison Forbess; son, Michael Forbess and wife, Chiyuki; daughter, Mary Perez and husband, Paulino; his sister, Laura Ann Dillard and her husband, W. A. Dillard; twelve grandchildren Jessica Johnson, Shady Johnson, Alex Johnson, Hikaru Forbess, Kaoru Forbess, Akane Forbess, Michiru Forbess, Ellie Perez, Natali Perez, Maggie Perez, Friedrich Dreher,Troy Dreher.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, October 26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Monday, October 27 at the funeral home, officiated by Dr. W. A. Dillard.
