William Grady Fulmer, age 93, of North Little Rock, AR went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2012. He was born in Faulkner County Arkansas on November 24, 1918 to Ed and Ada Fulmer. He was a member of the CC Corps and worked for the Ford Dealership in Lonoke for 38 years. Grady was a Nazarene and involved as music director in the church. His greatest love was the Lord, his family, growing a garden and sharing the vegetables with his family and friends, and singing gospel music. He loved to get a Stamps Baxter music book, sit down, pat his foot to the beat, and sing the shaped note music. His beautiful tenor voice is now singing in the Heavenly Choir and if possible he will be directing. Preceding Grady in death was his beloved daughter Rita.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Helen Marie Patton Fulmer; daughters Clois Ann (Joe) Parker; Pat (Wayne) Ray; Glenda (Jodie) Kelly; Sherry (Randy) Blakey; and son David (Martha) Fulmer; eight grandchildren, Dwayne Fulmer, Steven Fulmer, Jodie Kelly, Jason Kelly, Shannon Blakey Hammonds, Chad Blakey, Randy Ford. and Marc Ford. He also leaves behind 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 7 from 2-4 p.m. at Huson Funeral Home, 7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood, AR 72120.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Brockington Road Church of the Nazarene, 9860 Brockington Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
