William Helfrich

Willian "Bill" Helfrich, 65, of Cabot passed away on November 21st, 2017. He was born in Neptune, New Jersey on June 23rd, 1952 to Charles and Ann Hercey Helfrich. Bill was a Vietnam era veteran serving in the Air Force from 1970-1973. He was a mechanic and loved working on, rebuilding, and remodeling vehicles to make them go fast, and also a proud grandfather who loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years Nancy Helfrich, his children: Johnny Spencer (Robin) of Nixa, Missouri; Rhonda Roberts of Cabot, AR; Sheri Weeks (Richard) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; Wendy Cox (Eric) of Jacksonville, Arkansas and James Helfrich of Cabot; by his grandchildren: Jacob, Kylia, Blake, Shaylee, Rickey, Kayla, Lance, Haley, Taylor, Brandy, Courtney, Ryder, Christian, Noah, William, Jesse, Ricky, Deanna, Cheyenne and Richard; his great-grandchildren: Shayla, Gabriel, Cameron, Stella, Marshall, Lucy, and Makenzie; he is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Shirley Kazlauskas (Jerry) of New Jersey, Pete Helfrich (Susan) of Utah, Patty Clancy of New Jersey, and Mike Helfrich (Jan) of New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 1:30 p.m., December 1st, 2017 at the Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Placement of Bill's ashes will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
