William S. Howell, 94 of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 in Little Rock. He was born on August 9, 1918 in Mayton, Mississippi and was the son of James C. Howell and Artamesia Caroline Howell.
William, also lovingly referred to as "Spud", was a retired self-employed grocer and a United States Army Veteran of WWII.
Funeral services will be at Noon on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood, burial with military honors will follow at 1PM at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until Noon on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association at 1701 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, VA 22311.
