William "Evert" Lester, 65 of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord May 26, 2010. He was born to William H. Lester and Goldie Mae Reynolds Lester July 7, 1944.
He is preceded in death by his mother Goldie Lester, father William Lester, son William Gene Lester, sister Edna Lane and two brothers, Willie Lester and Robert Lester Sr. He is survived by his wife Darlene Lester of 45 years, two daughters, Billie Brown (Troy) of Navarre, Florida; Edna Batterton (Jimmy) of Benton, AR and one son William H. Lester; two granddaughters, Kristyn Taliancich (Joel); Ashley Arellanes all of Navarre, Florida. One grandson, Tyler Batterton of Benton, AR and two great granddaughters Harmony Faith and Leila Grace Taliancich of Navarre, Florida and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends. Visitation will be held at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock on May 28 from 6 to 8. There will be a graveside service held at Oakland Cemetary in Little Rock on May 29 at 11 am which will be his final resting place.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the nurses and doctors on 5A at Baptist Health and a special thank you for the Hospice Staff for all their support and dedication.
