William Manning

William Wilbert Manning, age 93, of the Richwoods Community near Arkadelphia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2017. He was born August 30, 1924 to the late Leslie and Roxie Wells Manning. Wilbert was a member of Richwoods Baptist Church and an U. S. Navy veteran. He will be remembered for his love of farming, gardening and blue grass music.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Leslie Wayne Manning and a sister, Helen Hendrix.

Survivors are his wife of sixty-seven years, Hazel Inez Manning; two daughters, Treva and Teresa; a son, Billy; a son-in-law, Tom; a daughter-in-law, Janice; six grandchildren, Robert Ezell, James David Ezell, Tammy McWhorter, Todd Manning, Michelle Williams and Bobby Mertink; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, November 13th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

Private graveside services will be Tuesday at Richwoods Cemetery.
