William Max Piechocki, aged 98, of Marche, passed away peacefully at his home on June 13, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 1, 1928, in Marche to the late Max Felix and Agnes Tophilia Piechocki. He attended North Little Rock High School and joined the army after graduation. After the army, William married the love of his life, the late Margaret, in 1953 and welcomed five children over the years. He worked for Olin Corp for 40 years where he became the Manager of Distribution, and he continued giving his time after retirement. He was a board member for the Oak Grove Fire Department for 8 years and a devoted member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for 42 years. As a member of IHM, William served as the Parish Manager and was proud to work on the cemetery committee.

Growing up in central Arkansas, Willie enjoyed spending his time outdoors and working with his hands. He especially cherished his time gardening, woodworking, fishing, and hunting; however, his greatest joys were found in his family, especially his wife Margaret, and his faith. William was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents, Max and Agnes Piechocki; and siblings, Chester Piechocki, Philip Piechocki, and Dorothy Miller.

He is lovingly remembered by his children Michael (Meri) Piechocki of Sherwood, Debbie (Jeffrey) Hunter of Texas, Larry (Diana) Piechocki of Marche, Kathy (Scott) Hoelzeman of Conway, and Cheryl (Tommy) Niedzwiedz of Marche. He also leaves behind a treasured legacy in his grandchildren Michael (Mandy), Jon (Lisa), Andrea (Jason), Andrew, Christy (Tim), William, Samantha (Harrison), Aaron (Anna), Tori (Tyler), Joey, and Alex, as well as great-grandchildren Madeline, Annabeth, Noah, Whit, Elizabeth, Emelia, Evangeline, Paul, Valerie, Henry, James, and Daniel. Additionally, numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends mourn his passing and celebrate his life.

Visitation will be held on June 19th beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 10:30 a.m., and a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Jack Harris presiding. Interment will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
