He was known for his outgoing personality, effortlessly connecting with others and leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Larry had a deep love of reading, particularly religious books, which reflected his belief in his savior Jesus Christ and quest for knowledge. His creative talents extended beyond the written word; he was a talented Blacksmith, an art that allowed him to combine his craftsmanship with his artistic vision. When he wasn’t immersed in his work or hobbies, Larry cherished the great outdoors, finding joy in camping and exploring nature.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynuel Crawford-Smith, and his two brothers, Richard (Eberly) Smith and Keith Smith. He is also remembered by his sister, Phyllis (Bruce) Wiuff, who continues to carry forward the memories of their shared childhood.
Preceding him in death were his father, Dr. William Lawrence "Bill" Smith Jr., his mother, Nadine Lorene (Block) Smith, as well as his siblings, Timothy Smith, Susan Smith, and Brian Smith. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew Larry.
