William Thompson
William "Bill" L. Thompson, 88, of Little Rock died Friday, July 7, 2017. He was born on November 22, 1928 in Hickory Plains, AR to John T. and Susie Tyson Thompson. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from Sears after thirty-nine years as an Electronic Technician.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Freeda Crow Thompson, of Little Rock; brothers, Franklin Thompson of Phoenix, AZ and J. W. Thompson of DeValls Bluff, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Theodore, Herman, Sellious and Carroll Thompson; sisters, Ora Harrison, Lucille Hampton, Grace Davis and Wanda Sue Thompson.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12th at Little Rock Funeral Home with Mr. Don McClain officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 11th at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
