Willie F. Abshure, 71, of Austin, Arkansas, was born August 28, 1940, and he died December 6, 2011. Willie was a pressman for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette for twenty-three years. He was a lifetime member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Will Abshure; three brothers, Roger, Ray and William Dalton; and a nephew, Mark.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Abshure of Austin; his mother, Hazel Abshure of Lonoke; four sons, Gary (Anita), Steve, Brian and David, all of Austin; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Sue (Fred) Brown of Bryant; two brothers, Freddie (JoAnn) of Lonoke and Ronnie (Rita) of Austin.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Bethlehem Methodist Church, with burial in Salem Cemetery.
