Willie Van Zandt
Willie Edward Van Zandt, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 12, 2019, after a brief illness. He was born on November 24, 1933, in Hamlin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Gertrude and Lonnie Van Zandt; brothers, Eugene, James, Benjamin and Alonzo; sisters, Fay, Jeffrey and Mary. He is survived by his daughter, Janelle Van Zandt, M.D. to cherish his memory and celebrate his life.
He was an incredible man and a loving and caring father. He will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at The Church at Rock Creek.
