Wilma Shirley-Matthews
Wilma Faye Shirley-Matthews of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away peacefully Monday, July 3, 2017 at home. She was first born child of Dewey and Ila Shirley born on July 14, 1929 in Remount, Arkansas. She was a dedicated Christian woman and a strong believer in God.
She was a veteran with several years of service with WAVES.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Harold Shirley.
She is survived by her brother Eddie Shirley (Doris) and sister Linda Christensen.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Cemetery in Jacksonville on Monday, July 17, 2017 under the direction of Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home with Reverend Steven Murphy officiating.
