Wil'nyla Amanda Smith

Wil’nyla Amanda Smith, 2, was taken much too soon from this earth on July 12, 2023. But we find peace that she is now safe in the arms of Jesus.

Born early on Mothers Day, Sunday, May 9, 2021, Wil’nyla was born to Khiresha Smith and Corey Jones. She made her entrance into this world as a tiny 1-pound preemie with a strong and fiesty fight about her. She was a gentle soul. And her big beautiful eyes would melt your heart.

Wil’nyla is preceded in death by a sister, Blessings Smith.

Left to treasure her memories are her mother and step-father, Khiresha Smith and T. Bryan Rice; sisters Nevaeh Davis, Mikhiya Ingram, Willow Smith, Emunzi Smith, and Bry’Ann Rice; Grandparents Katie & Ron Hobbs; Aunts Capresha Anderson and Alexis Smith; Uncles John Terry, Antonio Terry, Tyrone Smith, and Patrick Johns; cousin Zamarien Hagler, and an extended host of great nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A celebration of Wil’nyla’s life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene with a visitation to be held an hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM.
