Winnie Miles Spencer, age 92 of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

From her teen years through retirement, she worked as a legal secretary in downtown Hot Springs. She also took pride for many years in the restoration of the hand hewn log cabin in Montgomery County, in which she was born. She was a beloved friend to many. Her life was a testament to her kindness, love and her joy of family. 

Loved ones that left before her include her husband, Bobby Spencer, parents, Floyd and Lois Miles; a son, Hal (Pam) Murray; 2 sisters: Laverne Miles Clay and Wanda Miles Wood, and 2 brothers Wayne Miles and Weldon Miles. 

She also lost treasured grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and in-laws in her lifetime.Loved ones left behind to cherish her life include a daughter, Linda Wilkie; grandchildren Chris Murray, Kimberly Murray, Amanda Wilkie, and Angie (Mark) Kranz; great-grandchildren Kiley (Lydia) Speaks, Dahlia Wilkie, Isaac Engebretson, and Connor (Grace) Engebretson; and great-great grandchildren Waylon Speaks and Elliot Engebretson.She is also survived by her sister, Ernestine Miles Morton, her brother, Warren Miles, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.Honorary pallbearers are Josh Cannon, Brian Clay, Connor Engebretson, Elliot Engebretson, Isaac Engebretson, David Morton, Waylon Speaks, Alex Spencer and Dylan Spencer.

A Visitation in Winnie's memory will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 2:00PM - 4:00PM, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, AR.
