Zoe Dell Guthrie

Zoe Dell Guthrie, 87 of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Saturday 8/22,/2026. She was a beloved mother, wife, and "Memow" and beloved member at Parkway Place Baptist Church. She was known as one of the original "sisters group" at church where she and her friends ministered to nursing homes and the homebound members. She volunteered in the office and loved to decorate for the church luncheons. She had every kind of silk flower, candle and seasonal decoration you could imagine. She graduated from Lavaca High School in 1957. She worked for many years at Safeway and retired from Alltel. Once retired she volunteered for the Salvation Army where she worked at the Women's Shelter and cooked in the kitchen to feed the homeless.

She was preceded in death by her parents May S. and Willie S. Maness of Lavaca AR, two husbands James Kenneth Hicks and Harold Gene Guthrie and one son James "Buddy" Hicks of Little Rock. She is survived by her brother Butch Maness and sister Gracie Mullins, her daughter Peggy Ann Powell (Greg) of Royal AR, sons Brad Guthrie (Paula) of Rogers, Jay Guthrie (Amy) of Fayetteville and Kip Guthrie (Christie) of Tontitown AR., eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 3rd at 2:00 PM at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72117. Minister Leslie Willis will be officiating the service.
