Zoila Aizprua, age 97, of Bonnerdale, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018. She was born on August 15, 1920 in Ecuador, the daughter of Segundo Moreira and Maria Vera Moreira. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Aizprua; her parents; three children, Yanina Ochoa, Mariana Rugel and Eulalia Orellana; her grandson, Joshua Lazaro; three brothers; and four sisters. She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her household, cooking, baking and raising her twelve children. A member of the Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Church, she loved reading her Bible and studying Gods word. She loved flowers, crocheting, writing poetry and baking specialty cakes. She is survived by nine children, Aklis Delgado of Ecuador, Joel Aizprua of Louisiana, Mary Aizprua of Idaho, Irma Mariscal of Ecuador, Robinson Aizprua of Louisiana, Nancy Arias of Wyoming, Mabel Mero of New Jersey, Eva Lazaro of New Jersey and Ita Aizprua of Bonnerdale; thirty-nine grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother, Omar Moreira; and two sisters, Rosalia Cabal and Ketty Armas, all of Ecuador. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 3, 2018, in the Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
