Alice Francis

Alice May Rutherford Francis 51 of Arkadelphia passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in her home. Born in Murfreesboro, AR on January 7, 1969 to J.B. Rutherford and Alice (Collier) Rutherford Jacobs. Alice graduated from Delight high school in the late 80’s; obtained her CNA certification and spent her days caring for others.

Alice loved to garden especially her flowers and the traditional “Texas Star” that blooms in the gardens of her ancestors. Alice also had a soft spot for animals, especially puppies.

Alice is preceded in death by her father J. B. and one niece; Megan Smith. Survived by those to share her memories are her husband of 25 years Mike Francis and only son Byron Francis; her mother Alice Jacobs, two sisters; Diana Fisher, Janice Almond and husband Doug, two brothers; Wesley Rutherford and wife Delores and Rusty Douglas Rutherford and wife Tiffanie, numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
