Anne Darby Kocinski, 82, of Little Rock, passed away October 17, 2021.  Born May 5, 1939 to William Edson and Maurine McVicar Darby, she graduated from Little Rock Central High School and attended the University of Arkansas where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.

Due to her love of and great talent for interior decorating, Anne began three businesses, Milligan Interiors, Cabbage Rose Interiors and Rarely Scene. Her passion and hobby was oil painting, which she loved to do even up until her last days.  She could see the beauty in everything.

Anne is survived by her three children, daughter, Shawn Bass and husband, Leigh of Fayetteville, son, Mike Milligan of Searcy, and daughter, Maggie Milligan and husband, Jeff Brooks of Little Rock; grandchildren, John Guenther (Shanda), Justin Guenther (Jessica), Samuel Guenther, Gillian Brooks (Justin), Savannah Guenther (Katie), Jennifer Evans (Eric), Katie Milligan, Reed Milligan, Marshall Milligan, Tanner Milligan (Alexa) and Gavin Milligan; great-grandchildren, Emarie Guenther, Semmie Guenther, Darby Guenther, Ronen Guenther, Ethan Guenther, Graham Guenther, Brody Guenther, Asher Guenther, Taylor Evans, Lauren Evans, Payton Tidmore, Ashton Tidmore and Noah Tidmore and Thea Milligan; great-great-grandchildren, William and Wyatt Tidmore; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her soulmate of 33 years, Jerry Kocinski; her housemate, Lilly Bessette; and her constant companion, her fur baby, Birdie Bird.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Lucette White, Phoebe Norman and Sue Gaston, and granddaughter, Carmyn Guenther Tidmore.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Muhammad Waqas who she always said was her “Superman” doctor and Dr. Yazan Ghosheh. She loved and admired them both so much. And their special and loving nurses, Kristina, Carley and Bailey.  We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 29, at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Drive, Little Rock. Visitation will follow at the church.
