Betty Lois Healy McCollum Sanders age 87, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, on April 12th, 2021 in Beebe, AR. She was surrounded by all five of her children. Betty was born on June 28th, 1933 in White County AR to Evert and Annie Healy. She graduated from McRae High School in 1951 and went on to attend The University of Central Arkansas in Conway AR. Betty’s passion in life was being the best mother and nana possible and she was beyond successful. Betty was a loving and dedicated mother and enjoyed traveling and visiting her children.

She is survived by five of her children: Craig McCollum (Terry), Mark McCollum, Kimberly Grizzle (William Lee), Natalie Fueglein (John) and Melanie Christian (Michael Hahn) and her adopted daughter/caretaker Carol Reavis. She has 14 Grandchildren. Jake Porter, Kendra Adams (Tyson), Michael McCollum (Shakira) Jerad Grizzle (Bailey) Kayla Fueglein, Lauren Grizzle (Jake Rupp), Samantha Jobe, Matthew Fueglein, Kylie Fueglein, Olivia Grizzle, Kyle McCollum, Taylor Andrews (Kevin), Joshua Jobe (Michele Morales) and Lukas Christian; seven great grandchildren; Ireland Porter, Jack Porter, Peter Adams Piper Adams, Breyelle McCollum, Theodore Andrews and Elijah Jobe.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Evert and Annie Healy, her brothers and sister; Carthel Healy, Elvis Healy, Eva Burrus. Her daughter Regina McCollum Clark, her daughter in law Kerry McCollum and her late husbands; Garland McCollum and Billy Mac Sanders. Betty was caring and kind to all she met and had compassion and love for all people. She was a shining example of a child of God and we celebrate her arrival into heaven.

Graveside service was 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Antioch Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith Westbrook Funeral Home.  www.smithfamilycares.com
