Betty Winkler

Betty Lou Turley Winkler, 89, went to her Heavenly home August 7, 2020.  She was born in Little Rock on July 18, 1931, to the late Alfred Turley and Bessie Meeks Turley.  She lived in the Levy and Amboy area of North Little Rock. She was a homemaker and a attended Amboy Baptist Church. Betty loved God, her family, flowers, music, watercolor painting, ceramics, and her many friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Winkler, and their daughter, Sandra Winkler.  Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Deborah Carter; her God-sons Patrick and Michael Wilson, her Baring Cross Baptist Church family, the Lynch family and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 10, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Service and interment will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 11, at Edgewood Memorial Park.  The Rev. Derek Allen will officiate, and pallbearers will be:  Patrick Wilson, Jason Buckheister, Aaron Harper, Ronald Lynch, Jason Lynch and Adam Lynch.
