Billy Kee

January 24, 1940 — November 11, 2020

Billy Kee

It is with great sorrow that we announce Billy Louis Kee passed away the evening of November 11, 2020 at his home.

Born January 24th, 1940 to Louis and Amy Kee in Old Austin, AR.  Billy has one sister, Joyce Howell.  He attended Cabot High School and was a member of the Glee Club.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Louis & Amy Kee and his wife Mary Lou Kee.

Surviving are his wife of 15 years, Allidean Kee, sons David (Jennifer) Kee, Darrell Kee & Darren Kee, and Earnie (Teresa) Freeman.  Grandchildren are Emily (Chris) Pettway, Corbin & Julia Kee, Gavin Kee, Brittany Freeman, Trae, Brandon, & Christopher Mikoleit.  Billy enjoyed two great-granddaughters Hazel Pettway and Delilah Mikoleit.   Also surviving are his sister Joyce Howell and nieces Brenda Griffin and Janice Cook.

Billy loved to crappie fish the most, but also loved bird hunting.  He was known to fire into the middle of the covey rise with his open bore Scatter Blaster,  resulting in multiple cripples more than once.

He was an established horseman during his younger years garnishing many trophies and ribbons in multiple events.

He volunteered for the Beebe Fire Department for 25 years.  Only one time did he drop his boots off the back of the fire truck on the way to a fire.

Billy Kee was the purveyor of many quotes that are still famous around town today.  All you have to do is ask old Coolbreeze over there and he will say it’s so.

He loved his family and friends.  You could say he painted the town in more than one way.

Billy, you will be greatly missed.  We love you.
