Bobbie Annette Hornbeck-Richards, 76, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2021. She was born on February 22, 1945, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late Nettie Mae Shepherd and Joe Chapman.

Bobbie was a loving wife, amazing mother, and beloved Memaw to her grandchildren. She had a passion for helping people in her 32-year nursing career, which she retired working with veterans as a psychiatric nurse at Fort Roots VA hospital in North Little Rock. She never met a stranger and greeted everyone she met with a warm smile and a friendly hug. Bobbie accepted everyone and loved unconditionally.

Preceding Bobbie in death are her son, Rodney Brewster; sister, Bonnie Owens; and her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of twenty-six years, William Richards of Jacksonville, Arkansas; brother, Dean Chapman (Judy), children; Debra Stewart (Jeff), Gary Brewster, Mark Stone (Amanda), Jason Hornbeck (Kristy), Marcella Kilarosghi (James), Michelle Marra (Scott), Kevin Carrick (Terry), Michael Carrick (Marsha), Kenneth Richards (Kim); 18 grandkids and 18 great-grandkids; and many family members and friends who love Bobbie and will miss her always.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 6:00 PM  - 8:00 PM at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Sherwood with burial following at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at noon.

Pallbearers: Jason Hornbeck, Michael Stewart, Katie Hornbeck, Katelynn Stone, Nicole Stone, Dave Hall, Santiago Barrientos.

Honorary Pallbearers: Tiffany Stewart, Mark Ritter, Kevin Smith, and Dalton Hampton.
