Bonnie Bean Hutson, 89, left this life for Heaven, November 23, 2021.  She is survived by husband of 68 years, Harold Hutson, Sr.:  children:  Harold Hutson, Jr., (Jane) Linda Shatsar and David Hutson; grandchildren: Daniel Hutson, Kate Mabra, Brian Hutson, Caleb Shatsar (Christina), Adam Shatsar and Jake Hutson; three great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends.

Preceding her demise are her parents, Raymond and Etta Bean, sister, Juanita Phillips; grandmother, Clara Morris; aunts:  Mary Irene Ives and Emmeline Cole McMurtry and uncle, Wister Morris.

Bonnie was born near Cotton Plant, AR on the 21st day of February, 1932.  She attended grade school in the Sand Hill community near Des Arc.  After completing the 9th grade in Cotton Plant she moved with her family to Amarillo, TX.  She graduated from high school in Amarillo in 1950.  Bonnie entered nurses training at Baptist Hospital, Little Rock, after high school and graduated as a register nurse in June 1953.

She married Harold G. Hutson of Carlisle, AR in June of 1953.  She was employed at the Veterans Hospital, Little Rock, while her husband attended medical school.  She accompanied her husband and children to several different areas of the country during his further medical education including Denver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

Bonnie was active in local and church activities.  She was the first female member of the Lakewood Property Association Board (1977-1979.) She was active in Pulaski Society Medical Auxiliary and served as president on one occasion.  Bonnie taught Sunday School in various Baptist Churches while her husband was in the Air Force including San Rafael, CA, Hollywood, CA and Madrid, Spain.  She has been a member of Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock, AR for more than forty years; and taught Sunday School for more than thirty years.  She has been on several medical mission trips, including Brazil, China, Nigeria and Indonesia.

Donations in her memory may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church, NLR or the charity of choice.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. followed by a funeral at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 29, 2021 at Park Hill Baptist Church.  Burial at Carlisle Cemetery will be private.
