Brenda Purdom

Brenda Sue Purdom, 68 of Little Rock passed from this life on March 7, 2020. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 18, 1951 to the late Raymond T. and Mary E. Knabe Lindsey. Brenda was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist church where she participated in the Gleaners Sunday School class and the Senior Citizens group. Always one to be depended on, Brenda spent her career caring for the handicapped. She was known for her love of people, often becoming a mother to those in need. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, but found her greatest joy in her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Willie "Buddy" Purdom; children, Felicia (Marvin) Morgan and Willie Purdom III all of Little Rock; siblings Marie (Bill) D'Orr of North Little Rock and Linda Lindsey of Little Rock. Other survivors include a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 23rd at Crystal Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services starting at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
