Carl Anthony

Carl Clyde Anthony of Sherwood entered his Heavenly home on November 14, 2021, at the age of 82. He was born June 3, 1939, in Amite, Louisiana to the late William C. and Lille Mae (Oliphant) Anthony. Mr. Anthony was a United States Army Veteran, who served in the Korean War. He was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church in Sherwood. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Earl Anthony, Leo Anthony, Eugene Anthony, and William Anthony.

Survivors include his devoted wife of fifty-five years, Wanda (Wagster) Anthony, son, Ronald A. May of Sherwood, daughter, Rebecca Jo Morris and husband Earl III of Jacksonville, grandchildren, Earl Morris IV of Florida, and Robert Morris of Jacksonville. Other survivors include brother, Ray Anthony, and wife Rachel of Louisiana, nephew, Jason Anthony and wife Jessica of Louisiana, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00am, Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
