Carl "Dudley" Blair

Carl “Dudley” Blair, 78, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away November 18, 2021. He was born March 11, 1943 in Greenway, Arkansas to the late Charles Blair and Louise Smith.

Dudley’s family moved to North Little Rock when he was eight years old. He attended 4th Street Junior High in North Little Rock and graduated in 1961 from North Little Rock High School.

He married his wife, Darby Cook Blair, December 1, 1961 and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in just a couple of weeks.

Dudley was a pharmacist at Argenta Drug Store. He and Darby opened Blair’s Pharmacy in 1978 and then he went to work for Petty Drug. He retired in 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Darby; children, John Blair and Valli Lanning; grandchildren, Erica, Justin, Lauren, Alex, Beau, Josh, and Maddie; four great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Blair; and a host of family and many good friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street) with a funeral service following at 3:00 PM
