Carolyn Mefford Kirkland, 79, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Carolyn was born May 4, 1940 in Huntsville, Kentucky to her parents, John Beckham Mefford and Pearlie Cook Mefford. Carolyn was a graduate of Morgantown High School in Morgantown, Kentucky and Spencerian College in Louisville, Kentucky.
She married CM Kirkland in 1971 and the couple moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1975. Carolyn retired as a representative for NFIB, a career she enjoyed very much as it involved traveling all over the Central Arkansas area. Her beloved husband, CM, accompanied her much of the time when she called on her clients.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband CM; brothers, Russell Mefford, and John Mefford; sisters, Ada Mefford Bowers and Marvel Mefford.
She is survived by her sister, Kay Mefford Haley of Atlanta, TX; niece, Linda Haley Ware and husband, Steve of Atlanta, TX; nephew, Eddie Haley and wife, Tammy of Atlanta, TX and her precious friend, Patsy Stalter, and the Stalter family of Little Rock, AR.
