Charles Cox

CharlesLawrence Frederick Cox, Jr., 71, of North Little Rock, passed away September 21, 2020.  He was born May 25, 1949 in Little Rock to Charles, Sr. and Pauline (Arnold) Cox.

Charlie was a good man. He worked hard all his life.  He was an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad until he retired. He had two children, Eric Cox (Wendy) and Amber Rayborn; seven grandchildren, Amber’s children: Kierston Rayborn, and Mathew Rayborn; and Eric’s children: Kayla Watts, Brandy Copeland, Lance Cox, Haley Cox and Taylor Cox; three great grandchildren, Gabriel Copeland, Cameron Copeland and Shayla Brady.  He loved being with his family and friends.  He was an outdoors man.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going out on the lake during the summertime, to just hang out, and drink a beer with family and friends. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and four-wheelers.

Our dad, in our eyes, was the best father ever!  He taught us right from wrong and he did not have a problem showing tough love to us.  You can bet that if tough love is what we got, we deserved it.  He would try and help anyone that needed it, as long as they were trying to help themselves.  He enjoyed spoiling his grandkids and always made them cookies.  He was also a good friend to a lot of people.  We will all miss him very much.
