Charles L. Jackson, Jr., 63, of Little Rock died Friday, May 27, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, May 31 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock.
Charley was born in Batesville on June 20, 1952. He graduated from Batesville High School and the University of Arkansas College of Pharmacy. During his career as a pharmacist he worked at Aday's Pharmacy, Baker Drug Store, Harvest Foods, and Walgreens. He was a member of Redeemer Community Church in Little Rock.
He was a committed father and grandfather as well as a lifelong fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals, and he often used sports to teach life lessons. He loved music, and was a faithful and committed provider for his family.
Charley is survived by his wife, Linda; his sister Linda Wilson of Batesville; daughter Jennifer Whittle of Springdale, and her husband Chris; son Timothy Jackson of Little Rock and his wife, Magan; and daughter Julie Jackson of Madrid, Spain. He also leaves three grandchildren, Seth Whittle, Caleb Whittle, and Leah Whittle, of Springdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial gifts be sent to Oasis Renewal Center, 14913 Cooper Orbit Rd, Little Rock, AR 72223.
