Charlotte Ann Smith, 69, was born May 26, 1947 and passed away April 17, 2017. Charlotte was a lifetime learner and teacher to many. She received her Master's in Music from UA Fayetteville, her RN in Ohio, Maryland and Arkansas, and her Master Gardener's certificate. She worked for over 20 years as part of the Baptist Health System, was a Tai Chi instructor, and taught piano at UCA and at home. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church.
Charlotte was a yoga enthusiast, an avid swimmer, and was active in many charitable and social justice activities. In her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and pets, knitting and sewing, and working in her beautiful garden.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Laura Wilson (Bryan) of Little Rock; son, Reuben Clough (Lindsey) of Little Rock; brother, Tom Smith (Sue) of Gentry; and five grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at St. James UMC Monday, April 24th at 2pm. Charlotte's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LR Animal Village or National MS Society.
