Clarice Griffith

Clarice Ann (Boardman) Griffith was born in Vilonia, Arkansas on May 10, 1937.

She passed away on June 22, 2020 at the age of 83 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Myrtle Boardman; brother, Donald Boardman; and husband, Sam Griffith.

She is survived by her daughters, Trudy Smith and Jill Rowlan; brother, Tony Boardman; granddaughter, Amy Smith; grandson, Patrick Smith III; great grandsons Patrick IV and Nathan Smith; great granddaughter, Isabella Smith; and many more family and friends.

Clarice met the love of her life, Sam, at Vilonia High School and they married on December 24, 1954. From there they lived in several states, with their two daughters, spreading the word of God. Clarice retired from the Cooperative Extension Service and was a member of the Lorance Street Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lorance Street Church of Christ, 4212 Lorance Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206 or an animal shelter of your choice.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Arkansas.
