Colby Ebarb

Colby Pierce Ebarb, 21, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on April 29, 2021. He was born on December 2, 1999 to Timothy and Lisa Ebarb in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He is survived by his parents; one brother, Carter Ebarb; grandfathers, Roy Ebarb and Herman Johnson; aunt, Lynn Clemons (Spencer); uncles, Terry Ebarb, John Ebarb (Rashell), Phil Ebarb (Abbey); several cousins and friends.

Colby is preceded in death by his grandparents, Buddy and Kathy Harris, Elizabeth Ann Henderson Johnson and Iris Oden Ebarb.

Colby attended Abundant Life from pre-K to the 3rd grade before moving to Springdale.  He was a 2018 graduate of Har-Ber High School, where he played baseball for the high school team which won the Class 7A State Championship and was ranked #2 in the nation by Baseball America. Colby was an active member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes while at Har-Ber.  He received a scholarship to Arkansas Tech University.  He also attended NorthWest Community College as well.  He was a member of Cross Church Springdale.

Colby loved the outdoors.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, and whitewater rafting.  When he was young he enjoyed camping at Lake Chicot with his grandparents.  He loved to travel especially to sporting events.  He loved the Razorbacks, the New York Yankees, and the New England Patriots.  He was always planning our next adventure.   We traveled extensively and made precious memories that will remain with us forever.

Colby loved many and was loved by many people.  He was known for his sweet disposition, his humility, and his smile.  He had a servant’s heart.  He always put others before himself.  He was a friend with a sympathetic heart who would listen to other’s and their problems.  He was an encourager who never missed an opportunity to edify others, especially his teammates.  He was a young man who demonstrated his Christian faith without looking down at others.  He did his best to emulate his LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.
