Donna Daugherty

Donna Jean Daugherty, 78 of Sherwood, after a long fight against cancer, joined her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2021.

She was born January 20, 1943 in Chicago to Lois M. Hansen (Eenigenburg) and Arthur F. Hansen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister, Arlene H. Bansal of Phoenix, Arizona

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert M. Daugherty, Jr.; two sons, Scott M. Turner of Cabot and Thomas N. Turner of Lonoke; six grandchildren, Kristal Hottenrott of Mascoutah, Illinois, Jake Turner, Mark Turner of Heber Springs, Adam Turner of North Little Rock, Tiffany Corbell of Victoria, Texas and Terry Turner of Victoria, Texas; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was devoted to and loved her family with all her heart.

She was a loyal member of North Hills Baptist Church and was so grateful for the love and support she received in her final days.

She enjoyed being and Air Force wife. She was a volunteer for several years at the base thrift shop. She participated in all functions of the NCO Wives Club and served as President two times.  She loved country line dancing and went to different classes with a group of friends three times a week for several years. She also enjoyed going on cruises and travel through Western Canada and Alaska.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at North Hills Baptist Church. Interment will be at 1:00PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Hills Baptist Church, 9618 Hwy 107, and Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
