Doyle Harkins

Doyle Wayne Harkins, 63, of Benton, Arkansas passed away November 1, 2018. He was born April 30, 1955 in Sparkman, Arkansas to the late Curtis Floyd and Virginia (Wingfield) Harkins.
Doyle was a hard worker and worked for Reynolds for over sixteen years. After retiring, he became the owner/operator of Harkins Computer Recycling. He never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone. Not only was he good at talking, he was a great listener. He would often listen to his family and help them through life's situations. His family loved to see Doyle's big red truck pull into their driveway as he was their hero. "Doyle's heart gave out because he gave it all away."
Preceding Doyle in death are his parents; and wife, Patty Harkins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Keith Harkins and wife April of Haskell, Arkansas; daughter, Sandra Hope Nash and husband Timothy of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; grandchildren: Zachary Neil Whitener, Dylan Jett, Marshal McPherson, Haley Davis, and Justice Hebert; great-grandson, Sawyer Whitener; best friend, Dianne Quimby of Prattsville, Arkansas; and a host of family and friends who love Doyle and will miss him always.
Memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, November 6 with visitation following at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
