Dric Lovell
Dric Roxane Lovell, 68, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away January 14, 2019. He was born December 3, 1950 in Benton, Arkansas to the late William and Billie (Alderman) Lovell.
Dric loved the Lord with all his heart and was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood. He had a servant's heart and cooked and served meals at the Salvation Army. Dric enjoyed taking care of cattle on his land. His best friend was his pet horse, Porter, who was spoiled by sharing fresh, hot biscuits with Dric every morning. Dric also loved dogs and took in all the strays people dropped off around his home. His favorite hobbies included fishing, and riding motorcycles.
Dric leaves to cherish his memory two daughters: Amanda Sousa and husband JD and Sherri Halsell both of Benton, Arkansas; son, Gary Lovell and wife Traci of St. Joe, Arkansas; grandchildren: Dustin Lovell, Lynn Humphrey, Jr. and wife Megan, Randi Levisee and husband Kirk, Clay Lovell, Meagan Lovell, Kaylee Taylor and husband Zack, Kenzie Lovell, Garrett Lovell, Tara Lovell, Ella Lovell, and Emma Lovell; great-grandchildren: Anna Humphrey, Silvia Lovell, Emilia Lovell, and Aaron Levisee; two sisters: Jolene Duff and husband David of Benton, Arkansas and Lauren Lovell of North Little Rock, Arkansas; two brothers: Lanny Lovell and wife June, and Chase Lovell both of Benton, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who love Dric and will miss him always.
Reception visitation- 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, January 20, Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service- 11:00 AM, Monday, January 21, at Kentucky Missionary Baptist Church, 7070 Highway 5, Benton, Arkansas. Burial following at Kentucky Cemetery with Cheyenne Cantrell-Lovell, Tony Duff, Chase Lovell, Harley Duff, Ron Davenport, and Yancey Duff assisting as pallbearers.
