Emmanuel Chukwu

Emmanuel Chidiebere Chukwu went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 28, 2018. He was 44 years old. A native of Enugu, Nigeria, he studied law at Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He completed studies at Independent Baptist Church Seminary where he was an active choir member, organizer, friend and encourager to all, and assistant pastor.

Emmanuel immigrated to the United States in 2010 and became a naturalized citizen in 2015. He was a past member of Freedom Baptist Church in Maumelle, Arkansas but was led to worship the Lord at Central Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a factory distributor for the Kirby Corporation and the owner and operator of Best Way, Incorporated.

Emmanuel was loved and respected by so many. He loved to sing in the church choir and he had a great interest in politics and travel. His love for his family and friends was undeniable. Preceded in death by his father, Emmanuel was the oldest son of Raphael Chukwu. He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Chukwu and their two children, Rachel (6) and Caleb (2) Chukwu; his mother, Roseline Chukwu; two younger brothers, Jerry and Joshua Chukwu; two younger sisters Loveth Chinedu and Faith Samuel, and numerous nieces and nephews. Emmanuel will be dearly missed.
