Ernestine Reynolds

Ernestine Reynolds, age 96, of Glenwood, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was born on March 3, 1923, in Norman, the daughter of Jack and Etta Howell. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Franklin Reynolds on May 16, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her two brothers, Oscar Howell and Stewart Howell. She was a homemaker. Ernestine loved to sing and play her guitar and in her younger years played in a band. She enjoyed traveling and visiting with her friends at Oak Park Village, especially her best friend, Marie. She is survived by her special niece and nephew, Jackie and Gene Hamilton of Hot Springs; and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 26, 2020, in the Liberty Cemetery in Norman. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of Oak Park Village Assisted Living, Wanda Jones and her best friend, Marie Reynolds. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
