Eva McCulloch

Eva Johnson McCulloch, age 100, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on September 21, 2019.  She was born in Floyd, Arkansas, on August 12, 1919, to Birta Bradberry Johnson and George Andrew Johnson.  She was a long-time member of Beebe First Baptist Church and the librarian of Beebe Public Library for many years.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Birta and George Andrew Johnson; her husband, Weldon Leon McCulloch; two sisters, Mavel Johnson and Doris Martin; and brothers, Loyd, Dewell, and Millard Johnson. Her brother Solon Johnson joined her in Heaven on September 22, 2019.

She is survived by sons, W.L. (Cynthia) McCulloch of Dallas, Texas; Paul (Paula) McCulloch of Beebe, Arkansas; and Kerry Lee McCulloch of Jonesboro, Arkansas; granddaughters, Erin (Scott) McNeill of Ft. Worth, Texas; Kara (Casey) Shires of Denison, Texas; Lucy (Chris) Semple of Dallas, Texas; Molly (Kazzlee) Hudson of Beebe, Arkansas; and Hannah McCulloch of Portland, Oregon; great-grandchildren, Jack Gaston McNeill, Sophie Louise McNeill, and Lola Frances McNeill; Sutton Mae Shires, Estelle Claire Shires, Drew Gaston Shires, and Boone McCulloch Shires; Cynthia Louise Semple, Ivy James Semple, and Henry McCulloch Semple; Kyleigh Katheryn Wooten, Connor William Wooten, and Kamryn Marie Looney; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Beebe First Baptist Church, followed by visitation.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Beebe First Baptist Church or Beebe Public Library.  Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  www.smithfamilycares.com
