Frances Sims

Frances L. Sims, 75, of Ward, Arkansas passed away October 18, 2020.  She was born November 8, 1944 in Missouri.  Frances worked many years as a day care worker at Mt. Carmel taking care of children as her own.  Once her grandchildren came along, she devoted her time taking care of them.  Frances and her late husband Ira built, owned and operated Butlerville grocery, car wash, and mini storage.  After this, she helped her husband in their construction business.  Upon retirement, she enjoyed working outdoors, traveling and spending time with family.

Their legacy will be carried on by their three children, Don Sims (Sheila), Tammy Smith, and Debbie Hill (Scott); seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren,  She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ira Sims, her parents, E. B. and Cleone Stinnett, three brothers, and three sisters.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Butlerville Cemetery.
