Inez Starkey
Inez Helms Starkey age 89 of Donaldson died Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was born February 24, 1921 in the Springdale Community near Arkadelphia the daughter of Harry and Maggie Hill Helms. She was a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren G. Starkey.
Survivors include one son Alvin Starkey and his wife Margaret of Midway, two daughters, Wilma Starkey of Donaldson and Vickie Burnett and her husband Mike of Friendship, two sisters, Louise Bullard of Enid, OK and Clara Toombs of Arkadelphia, four grandchildren Kevin and Keith Starkey, Kari Lackey and Zachary Burnett, six great grandchildren, Cory, Cody, Haley, Logan, and Skylar Starkey and Khloe Lackey.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday in the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Hollis McDermott and Rev. Mike Steed officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Fund c/o Paul Crow, 301 Nix Loop, Donaldson, AR 71941.
