J. C. Gallant

J. C. Gallant age 87, of Arkadelphia, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Arkadelphia. He was born October 15, 1933 to Mike and Lillie Bell Gallant.  J. C. was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.

J. C. was an U. S. Air Force veteran. He retired as a supervisor from the Lockheed Martin Corporation where he was recognized for his management skills and principals.  J. C. loved his flowers. He was a devoted caregiver for Joyce throughout her illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-three years, Joyce Lynn Carter Gallant; one son, James Timothy Gallant; two brothers, Charles Ellis Gallant and Alfred Gallant and one sister, Ollie Mae Purifoy.

J. C. is survived by several nieces.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 1 ^st at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Ellis Jones and Bro. Frank Henson officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Seale, Brandon Seale, Keith Jester, T. J. Curtis, Chris McMasters and Taylor Norman. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Goshen, Arlon Seale and Dub Fendley.
