James “Jim” Madison Loetscher, Jr., 71, of Maumelle passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021. He was born January 5, 1950 in Pulaski County, Arkansas to James “Jimmy” Loetscher Sr. and Jean Motley Loetscher. Jim enlisted in the Marine Corps at 17 years old and served in Vietnam in 1967 - 1968 and fought in the Tet Offensive. Once home he married the love of his life Shirley Ann Mason Loetscher. They made their home in central Arkansas and raised their 2 children Tricia Laynatte and James “Trey” Madison. He was the retired owner of Precision Auto Body Shop in North Little Rock, an avid fisherman and hunter, an except marksman and a member of Windsong church of Christ.
Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Loetscher; daughter, Tricia Burleson (Mark); son, James “Trey” Loetscher (Amanda); mother, Jean Loetscher; sister, Tammy Lee (Greg); two grandchildren, Courtney Ann Kubic (Garrett) and Catie Burleson; seven great-grandchildren, Riley Madison, Ella Rose, Miles Mark, Nora Kennedy, Finley Kate, Stormy Haven, Oakley Willow; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James M. Loetscher, Sr.; sister, Glenda Loetscher and grandson, Blake Allen Burleson.
A Memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Windsong Church of Christ.
