Jeffrey Head

On Saturday March 6th, 2021 Jeffrey Bentley Head, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 67, in Beebe Arkansas.

Jeff was born in Bakersfield California to Jack and Beverly Head. In the summer of 1971, he met the love of his life, Malea Christine, and made her his wife on January 20th, 1974. They raised two sons; Justin and Christopher and a daughter; Crystal.

In 1974 he started his career as a hardwood flooring contractor and built a flourishing business in the San Francisco Bay Area that followed him through his moves to Guerneville California in 1998 and then to Beebe Arkansas in 2003.

Jeff was a stubborn adventurer who liked to live life to the fullest and tried to get as many people as he could do the same. As a teenager, Jeff backpacked around California. He loved camping and fishing and shared his love of the outdoors with his family and friends. He took his family on camping trips every summer, taught his kids to fish and sent anyone who was willing sailing through the air on a tube behind his boat. Jeff loved spending time with his family and did so as often as he could.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 47 years, Malea Christine Head; son Justin and his wife Stacey and their children Julia, Jeffery and Sophia; daughter Crystal and husband Phillip; Son Christopher and his wife Emily and their daughter Amesley; his sisters Mari Stone and Cathy Manthei; and several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents.

A private memorial will be held at 16th Section Union Church.
