Jerry E. Lacina, 78, passed away on September 5, 2020 at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was the husband of Ilagene Lacina with whom he shared over 56 years of marriage.
Born in Scott City, Kansas on June 16, 1942, he was the son of Robert and Charlotte Lacina and older brother to sister Bobby. He had a childhood filled with opportunity and adventure traveling the world with his military family. He graduated high school in Jacksonville, Arkansas before a 3 year enlistment in the US Army. He returned to Arkansas and attended Petit Jean VoTech in Morriltion where he met the love of his life. He had a long career in automotive repair, retail, and logistics before retiring to his home in Sherwood, Arkansas.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, swimming and any activity that included family and friends. He will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious attitude and love of life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ilagene; children, Jerry Jr. and Elizabeth; grandchildren, Georgia, Jerry III and Robert; sister, Bobby; daughter-in-law, Patricia; and many in-laws and outlaws, nieces and nephews, and special extended family; daughter, Irene Alamilla; and grandchildren, Sashary, Natalia, and Antonio Rios. He is preceded in death by his father and mother.
