Jimmy Gardner, Jr.

August 2, 1969 — June 29, 2020

Jimmy Gardner, Jr.

Our dear Jimmy “Jimbo” Gardner, Jr. of North Little Rock passed away June 29, 2020.  He was born August 2, 1969 to Charlotte Gardner and Jimmy Gardner, Sr.  Our precious Jimbo will forever be loved.  His quick wit and dry sense of humor made him a family favorite.  When he entered  a room, he brought energy and vitality with him.  His kindness, sensitivity and loving ways will be missed by all loved ones.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his sons:  Matthew Gardner, Chris (Justine) Gardner and grandson Milo; brothers, Jason Gardner, Aaron Wells; sisters: Julie (Dewayne) Seigrist and Katlynn (Kaleb) Wagoner; grandmother, Pauline Hamilton; nieces  and  nephews:  Bradley Davis, Katy Baugh, Samantha Talley, Charlotte Moss, and Kaisley Wagoner;  as well  as many  extended  family members and friends.

Jimbo was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of NLR and had recently been attending Calvary Pentecostal Church in Hot Springs. He was a talented musician and used his beautiful voice to sing in the church choir. He was also a wonderful chef and would gladly cook and serve for church events. He witnessed to countless people telling them of God’s love for them and inviting them to church.

Jimbo graduated from McAlester High School class of 1987. He was a Buffalo offensive lineman on the football team. His classmates said he looked good on that field! They also said everyone remembered him moving to McAlister. He drove his little black 370 and was so handsome!

Jimbo was known for his big heart and love for everyone. He was always doing things for others. He loved everyone, and everyone loved.
