John Hardin

John William Hardin, 31, of North Little Rock, passed from this life on May 13, 2021. He was born December 21, 1989, to Gregory Stephen Hardin and Teresa Ann Green Hardin Richey (Larry Richey).  He is survived by his parents; his Nanny Billie Jeanne Robertson, of North Little Rock; one sister Britney Nicole Hardin; and step-sister Kim Hicks (Johnny) of North Little Rock; niece Maddie Lemmons and nephew Carter Hicks; Aunt Suzanne Vincent (Harold), of Tyler, Texas; Uncle Herb Green of England, Arkansas, Uncle Geoffrey Hardin of North LIttle Rock; and several extended family and friends.

John was loyal, caring, and had a big heart. He was your best friend when you needed him. He gave everything to those he loved. Growing up he loved baseball, football, and music. He was a self-taught guitar and piano player. He was very gifted. He always enjoyed creating music. He is was able to listen to the song on the radio and play it by ear.

He was very smart and could recall tons of information due to his photographic memory. He would also argue with you about all the information he could recall and the related subject. He would continue arguing until you concede or give up on the argument.

His loves included Samson and Josie both were Alaskan Malamute/wolf-hybrids. Samson was his pride and joy passed away in 2019. He is survived by Josie the female Alaskan Malamute he rescued 10 years ago.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by all of the lives he touched.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Friday, May 21, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park.
