John “Johnny” Oliver Weaver entered this world on January 18, 1945 to Hazel Faye (Leopard) and Oliver “Bo” Alec Weaver in Arkadelphia, AR. Johnny passed away on August 15, 2021 at 76 years old. He attended and graduated from The Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Little Rock, AR where he was senior class president and a state champion wrestler. Johnny was an avid musician, who wrote and recorded several songs. Johnny and his wife Mary enjoyed going to different churches and nursing homes singing and playing music for the Lord. He owned and operated a piano store in Gurdon and has tuned pianos all his life. He worked at Arkansas Educational TV Network in Gurdon, AR as an electrical engineer for 46 years. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Hazel Fay and Oliver “Bo” Alec Weaver and sister Delorise Wray.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years Mary Weaver; children Michelle and Joshua Schaefer of Malvern AR, Zachary and Robyn Weaver of Hot Springs AR, Jeremy and Evie Hammonds of Malvern AR and Caleb Easley and Radeance of Arkadelphia AR. Grandchildren Haley Oates, Lily Oates, Geoffrey Schaefer, Austin Oates, Noela Weaver, James Schaefer, Cason Weaver, Grace Schaefer, Kaden Weaver, Carter Hammonds, Danni Mae Hammonds, and Lila Easley. Siblings include Steven and Dot Weaver of Bryant, AR, B.J. and Harold Bailes of Tyler, TX, Gary and Lisa Weaver of Camden, AR, Katie and Dale Brooks of Fouke, AR, Karen and Bryon Foster of Garvin, OK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at First Assembly of God, 917 S 11th St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.  Visitation will be from 6-8PM, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
