Joseph Elliott

July 22, 1955 — April 30, 2021

Joseph Elliott

After a good fight with a bad cancer, Joe died early in the morning of April 30th.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Lt. Col. William R. Elliott, Sr., (USAF, ret.) and Maida Myers Elliott, one brother; Cap. John Crist Elliott, PhD (USN, ret.) and a beloved sister-in-law, Karen Mirafuentes Elliott.

Joe leaves behind many loved ones doomed to endlessly grieve his passing: his beautiful wife of 43 years, Terri Brock Elliott; three of the finest sons in the land; John Brock Elliott (Jess, Fayetteville), Benjamin Lee Elliott and Samuel Myers Elliott; three angelic and much loved sisters: Susan Ahrend (Golden, CO), Patricia Lombardo (Franklin, TN), Mary Epstein (Merv, Charleston, SC / Little Rock); two deeply admired brothers: Col. William R. Elliott Jr, J.D. (USAF, ret., Niceville, FL),  Michael L. Elliott (Metarie, LA); every member of the four great families of his life (the Elliotts, Myers, Brocks and Wilsons; from exalted family elders to the occasional miscreant) and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Joe asks that you spoil your pets and that donations be made in his name to the Humane Society of Pulaski County. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 4th at 2:00 pm at the Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court, Little Rock AR.

The family sends sincere gratitude to the staff of Baptist Health, Dr. Jennifer Casey and the nurses at Hospice Home Care, and especially to Dr. Jamie Burton and the ridiculously compassionate and caring people at CARTI.
