Karen Annette Seigrist, 65, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away February 1, 2019. She was born in Little Rock on March 21, 1953 to the late Virgil Douglas and Georgia Alice (Williams) McCutcheon.
Karen was of the Baptist faith. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help others. Karen was a wonderful mother who had unconditional love for her family and cherished them dearly. Some of her favorite memories included travelling with her sisters to Hawaii and other vacation destinations. Karen worked for many years in childcare. She loved babies and cared for them as her own. Karen enjoyed sitting on the porch watching butterflies and hummingbirds. She was dearly loved and will be missed always.
Preceding Karen in death are her husband, Gordan Seigrist; parents, Virgil and Georgia McCutcheon; brother, Virgil McCutcheon, Jr.; and two sisters: Sissy Avera and Linda Dempsey.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters: Michelle Denley and partner Maria Nasca of Roselle, Illinois, Kimberly Denley of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Angela Byrd of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and Amanda Byrd and partner Jen Ayre of Grand Rapids, Michigan; son, Sean McClain and girlfriend Jenni Fort of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; grandchildren: Jackson Denley, Amie Mansfield and husband Donald, Mason Denley-Sanders, Andrew Byrd, Joshua Byrd, and Melanie Carter; great-grandchildren: Harper "Best Friend", Kayden, and Zane; brother, Kenneth McCutcheon and his wife Jo of Lawton, Oklahoma; sister, Betty Mize and her husband Charlie of Little Rock, Arkansas; special friend, Robert Gray of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Donald Mansfield and Rev. Scott Nalley, will be held at 6:00 PM, February 4, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Reception visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
