Leola Bean

Leola Floyd Bean age 91 of Amity died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 in Hot Springs. She was born April 2, 1918 in Clark County Arkansas, the daughter of Lee and Nada Garner Floyd. She was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Bean; four brothers, Harlous Harris, Doyle Harris, John Floyd, and Leon Floyd, two sisters, Delia Kelley and Lottie Garner.

She is survived by one daughter Linda Cantrell and her husband Johnny of Amity, three grandchildren, Jason and Samantha Cantrell of Amity, Justin and Brandy Cantrell of Benton, and Josh and Krissi Cantrell of Amity, seven great grandchildren, Chase, Gracey, Haley, Madison, Bayley, Hannah, and Jackson, one brother J. D. "Jack" White and his wife Elaine of Keithville, LA, two sisters-in-law, Jane Bean of Amity and Delphine Floyd of Arkadelphia, Murleen Kinder her home health care nurse for many years, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, July 31, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with burial in the Jones Cemetery in Amity. Visitation will be from 12:30 Friday until service time at the funeral home.
